Jane & Russell’s Dancing Deer Farm Wedding in Templeton CA was a dream. I have never met a couple that was so sweet and romantic. I knew this day would be special when shortly after our arrival the Groom surprised the Bride with a personalized mix tape to listen to while she got ready! It was incredible and so sweet. The Bride’s wedding day gift to the Groom was just as sweet and sentimental, a custom wood watch with a personalized message engraved on the back. The watch went perfectly with his wooden weeding band.
The surprises, romance and laughter didn’t stop there. The Bride was walked to her Groom by her 3 nephews, as she took her winding walk down to the ceremony, the Groom got another surprise. This one came in the form of many of the Bride’s friends standing up in the audience with life sized stick photos of the Groom, in varying states of…decoration. When the Groom noticed the gesture his reaction was perfect. After the laughs the couple had a sweet ceremony with personal vows but the Groom wasn’t done yet, after the first kiss a small white carpet was rolled out for the couple with a special message for the Bride. It was truly a tear jerking and beautiful ceremony.
The time we got to spend alone with the couple for their portraits was truly a blast, I have never laughed so much during a Grooms portraits before. All of the couples friends and family in attendance were so sweet and kind to us and really spoke to the amazing couples personality. Jane & Russell connected early on over a love of cooking, they tied this into their wedding day with fresh floral centerpieces in vintage kitchen ware and the Bride’s bouquet was designed with fresh herbs and vegetables. The guests got to take home small bottles of spices as a thank you from the new Mr. and Mrs. My personal favorite part of the couples day was their choreographed first dance! It was sweet but also looked like a total blast. Jane & Russell, thank you again for letting us capture your truly wonderful and unique wedding day.
